I started my professional carrier in the HR industry and, while working for a real estate developer, I stated to manage the conference and events center that my employer developed in Cluj, organizing approx. 100 small and large business events. Later on, the same company opened a 4 stars hotel, under the Ramada brand, and I continued to manage the conference and events side, this time managing the operational team, as Executive Director. In 2015 I left that company and became a solopreneur, creating and managing my own events and helping my partners organize theirs. Some of the umbrella organizations I managed events for are: PropTech Romania (open real estate hackathon, demo day, Skanska office hackathon, Romanian PropTech Awards and Report launch), Nonviolent Communication (free, personal development events for the local community), Bosch Engineering Center Cluj (Innovation events, accelerator, hackathons and meetups). I work mainly with the tech and business community.

Experiences

Climate change and circularity: contributing to carbon neutrality, the circular economy and sustainable mobility.

The events and projects I am managing at Bosch Engineering Center Cluj (as a contractor) are under the Future of Mobility theme, and sustainability plays an important part. The participants are encourages and guided to generate solutions and take them to MVP level, through workshops, hackathons, getaways that I am organizing and coordinating myself (as a trainer and innovation coach).

As a co-founder of PropTech Romania, I participated in organizing and promoting several events related to sustainability and neutral /zero emission buildings (startup competitions and awards)

Other experiences

Empathy and communication - I understood that empathy is an important part of any innovation process, understanding the pains of your clients and what are their sentiments about it. So, I joined a local community of trainers and facilitators in Nonviolent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg method), organizing large and small events (trainings, conferences, podcasts, meetups), helping the participants acquire the communication tools and notions to help them better run their businesses and jobs. To date (Oct 2024) we organized 6 annual editions of the Nonviolence Day (Gandhi Day), 4 annual train the trainers weekends, 10 podcasts shows with audience, several other meetups and workshops.
