I have dedicated my entire career to innovation, with nearly 15 years of professional experience across diverse fields, including medical device innovation, the development and implementation of European projects, and the management of innovation hubs and start-up ecosystems.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Innovation at the Barcelona Hotels Association, where I lead innovation projects in collaboration with public administrations, companies of all sizes across the travel sector, and a dynamic start-up ecosystem. I provide our start-up ecosystem with training on travel business and innovation topics and offer mentoring to support them in their early stages of development.
Experiences
Climate change and circularity: contributing to carbon neutrality, the circular economy and sustainable mobility.
I have developed several H2020 and Interreg projects within circular economy and sustainable mobility topics, specially in the development of circular business models and advanced materials for circularity, as well as smart mobility projects focused on developing plans for MaaS deployment and nudging schemes to incentivate modal changes towards more sustainable mobility options, shared-mobility schemes and the development of deployment plans and selection of best use cases for Automated Vehicles.
Governance and impact: regenerative business models with lasting impact, cross-sector and local communities’ platforms, profitability and tech access.
I have been involved in multiple co-creation and open innovation projects dealing with collaborative governance and implementation with the objective of generating positive impacts in organisations, local communities and asociations.
I have contributed to the development of regenerative business models through circular products and services design using natural materials and RE-schemes.
